Gioia survived something horrible only to find herself delivered into an unexpected light. With well-developed characters, the perfect mix of lore, romance, and urban fantasy, this story had me turning pages pretty quickly. The writing is strong and the cover is awesome. I need a Braden in my life for sure! The whole motorcycle club element was unexpected and unique. We need more of this from this author. She's done it right.

What a fantastic read! This is one of the most unique books I have ever read, and I can't wait for the next installment. It is an amazing blend of motorcycle culture with the paranormal, wrapped up in a compelling love story. It is astonishing that this is the author's first novel. The rich characterizations are the heart of this book, and the setting and plot ring true in every detail.
One of the really great strengths of this book is how the author creates a world of characters who form an unconventional family, and you find yourself really caring about what happens to all of them. It is similar to how other authors have woven worlds you want to get lost in, but this book is better because of the fast pacing and non-stop plot twists. You find yourself longing to follow this story further, or at least to see the movie! Let's cast Braden...I hear George Clooney likes motorcycles!

Love the unique combination of the bikers and the paranormal! The story is full of unexpected twists, romance, danger and personal struggles. Just enough sweet and salty to keep the reader wanting more of Gioia and Braden, much, much more. Hopefully, G.C. Nichols keeps the story going!!
I've waited a long time for the release of this wonderful story. G.C. Nichols has a knack for storytelling and a gift for weaving multiple complex characters together into a lovely web of surprises. Gioia and Braden share something unique, as do all the characters in this story. The ending does not disappoint! With lovely writing and a beautiful cover, COLORS is an awesome package. The motorcycle club element to this story is done extremely well and is as tangible as real life. To my knowledge, no other author has used this dynamic as successfully at G.C. If you like Sons of Anarchy (SoA), you'll enjoy this story!
